Falling for Change: Getting Focused & Committed

The fall season symbolizes change for many of us. I am no exception. Many new things are in the pipeline for me and they are all kicking off this fall. It’s already been a busy start to the season. New projects, new endeavours, and new baby on the way I am embracing all this change with open arms.

One of the things I’ve been wanting to do is get more focused in my writing. I’ve been posting more consistently and as my audience grows I want to be sure that you all know exactly what to expect when you travel to my humble space on the web.

The fall season symbolizes change for many of us. Even the trees shed their leaves during the fall to come back bigger and more beautiful in the spring. I am no exception. Many new things are in the pipeline for me and they are all kicking off this fall. I can't wait to share them all with you!! #leaves #inspo #fall #autumn #change #evolution #sweaterweather #urbanstreetpoetry #thehappynow #pregnant #31weeks #liveauthentic #latergram
I have been blogging since 2007 and although the content and conversations have changed there has been one thing that has remained the same; my journey for preserving myself and my passions while maintaining my home and family life.

Our baby is due in 8 weeks and after my recovery I plan to dive right back into taking clients again for my photography business. I also plan on using this time to iron out details on taking more design clients, and possibly even heading back to school. Afterall we will have another mouth to feed. More money and less time. I have been a mother and a wife for 8 years now and I know all too well, the struggle of feeling like you need to sacrifice your whole life in order to keep your family happy. I also know what it feels like when that philosophy backfires on you and you slowly slide into the abyss of loosing yourself completely. Offering a first hand view of my mistakes, my successes, and just how both beautiful and chaotic it can be on a day to day basis.

So with that I would like to announce a renewed focus for my blog (a niche if you will). It’s my intention to dispel the notion that we as mothers cannot take care of themselves and their families while pursuing their dreams and passions. Starting and running businesses, going to school, whatever it may be.

The journey I’m taking to take care of myself mind, body & soul, grow my business, maintain a marriage and run a household of 6 … all filtered through a beautiful aesthetic and my open and honest views and that you’ve been enjoying already. I thought to take on a new name but I feel that (at least for now) EatPlayLuv states all the things I find to make up an enjoyable, inspired lifestyle.

I can’t wait to share all that I have in store. I hope you’re excited as I am! Don’t forget to subscribe

Any thoughts or opinions? Want me to talk about something in particular, I’d love to know! Please share with me below.
